Do I need to export before deleting my account?

Yes. Once an AI account is deleted the conversation history goes with it, and support cannot restore it. Request the export while the account is still active.

Does ChatExports upload my conversations anywhere?

No. Parsing and conversion happen entirely inside your browser tab, so the export file never reaches a server.
