PDF: export and convert the chat, then send the file. The recipient gets the whole thing, you keep control of distribution, and there is no public URL.
Word: the same, when the recipient needs to comment or edit.
Markdown: for pasting into a wiki, Notion, or a repository.
The general point is that a link on someone else's server is a poor substitute for a file you own. If you have been using share links as your archive, replace that habit with an exported and converted set of documents.
