Export Gemini conversations in the UK

Gemini history comes out of Google Takeout in a format designed for archiving, not reading. ChatExports turns it into clean documents on your own machine. This page is the en-GB version, with GBP pricing guidance and notes on UK GDPR.

How it works

Go to Google Takeout, deselect everything, then select My Activity → Gemini Apps and request the export.
Download the archive Google sends and unzip it.
Drop the Gemini activity file into ChatExports.
Choose your format and download clean, readable documents.

What this means in the UK

Pricing: roughly £8 for a single platform and roughly £20 for all nine, at current rates. Payment is taken once, in US dollars, so your card issuer applies its own conversion.
No subscription, so nothing renews and there is no local billing entity to cancel with.
Your data-protection rights in the UK come from UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can require the provider to hand over a copy of your conversations, and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is the body that enforces it.
Processing is local: your export file is read inside your browser tab and never crosses a border, which keeps a conversion out of scope for any cross-border transfer question.
Dates in exported documents follow the timestamps in your export file; DD/MM/YYYY is the convention we use in British guidance.

Can I pay in GBP?

Does this help with UK GDPR?

It helps with the part that comes after. UK GDPR gives you the right to a copy of your data, and the provider satisfies that with a machine-readable file. ChatExports turns that file into a readable record. We are a converter, not legal advice, and we are not a party to your request.

Does my conversation data leave the UK?

No. Parsing, conversion and file generation all happen inside your browser on your own device. There is no upload step, so nothing is transferred to a server in another jurisdiction.

Is there a British version of the app itself?

The app interface is English only for now. These pages are international English: same product, local currency guidance and local privacy law, no machine translation.
